Our Cabin
Tucked just 3 miles outside of historic St. Michaels, Wales Family Cabin offers peaceful, private lodging surrounded by forest and wildlife.
Built by hand by our father and grandfather, this home is as unique as it is comfortable. It is a fully log-built home of 3 stories and 2400 sq ft. Boasting a wrap-around porch, enclosed porch, and tree-top master deck to fully partake of the natural surround.
The property is surrounded by 5 acres of woods and overlooks a one-acre fresh water pond. The pond is filled with fish, turtles, frogs, and has a few feathered friends that visit regularly (We especially love Max the blue heron!).
When our family is there, we enjoy front porch coffee-mornings, peaceful walks around the pond, swinging on the tree swing, pine cone collecting, fishing, and s'mores around the fire in the evenings.
We hope all of our guests will find the same enjoyment in its natural environment, simple joys and quiet connection that we do.
